What is blogging?

Blogging is an online tool we will use to help us develop our writing and conversational skills.

When commenting on another person’s post remember the following guidelines:

1. Be Polite and respectful
   1. Start with a greeting:
      1. Dear____________,   or Good Morning______,
   2. Comment on the post, give a compliment or ask a question:
      1. I found your topic ___________ interesting,
      2. I noticed…
      3. What do you think about_________?
      4. One thing your post brought to mind was__________.
      5. I like what you had to say about______________.
2. Stay Safe
   1. Do not reveal personal information about yourself
      1. Use only your first name and last initial.
      2. Keep the following information private:
         1. Your last name.
         2. The name of our town or school.
         3. Your phone number.
         4. Your personal email.
3. Be professional:
   1. Make sure to reread your comments for spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
